Former town mayor Jim Grieve resigned from Whitehill Town Council on Monday following a heated debate during a confidential session.
Mr Grieve stormed out of the council chamber at the beginning of the discussion into whether the finance and policy committee should recommend the council to grant the Bordon and Whitehill Community Association a grant of £16,000.
