THIS year’s dog show and fete was a hit with both two-legged and four-legged friends on this month on the sports pitch at Dunhurst School.

The annual event is hosted by the Friends of Dunhurst (parents’ association) and this year raised funds for the John Badley Foundation, which provides full bursary support for pupils to attend Bedales Prep and Senior Schools.

Categories included cuddliest dog in the world, best rescue dog and dog most likely to catch a rabbit.

The dog show was part of the John Badley Foundation ‘Big Weekend’ which included a quiz night and lunch with special guest and Old Bedalian Kirstie Allsopp. The weekend raised £6,500.
