PARKING will be free from 3pm to 7pm every Thursday afternoon in all Waverley Borough Council car parks this December, including on Christmas Eve.

The borough council has launched the initiative to encourage residents to use the town centres for their Christmas shopping, providing a boost to the local economy.

Waverley-run car parks in Farnham include Central, Dogflud, Lower and Upper Hart, Riverside, South Street and Waggon Yard.
