The event, on Saturday, August 13, from 10am to 4pm at Bordon’s Forest Community Centre, gives people the chance to try activities, provided free by organisations from in and around the town. Last year the activity day attracted more than 1,000 visitors.
Charities, leisure groups, dance classes and sports clubs will provide activities, including fitness challenges, a climbing wall, a petting farm, bungee run, nail painting, a cycling zone and a Dogs Trust stall.
There will be a low-cost barbecue as well as free tea, coffee and cold drinks.
Visitors will also be able to find out about various organisations in the town.
Cara Barros, sales manager at Keats in Bordon, said: “Keats is pleased to support the Activity Day and we are doing everything we can to help raise awareness about this great community event as it provides an ideal opportunity for local people to get together and have some fun. Keats has developed a great working relationship with the Whitehill and Bordon Town Partnership and we have been involved in many of its activities this summer.”
Claire Coxwell, Activity Day organiser, added: “We are extremely grateful to Keats Estate and Letting Agents for attending the event and for delivering some of our Activity Day flyers to local homes. This will mean that more people hear about the event.”
