FARNHAM Repair Café will return at the United Reformed Church, South Street this Saturday (August 11), repairing broken products for free from 10am to 1pm (12.30pm last item registered).
There are normally six repair stations covering electrical, laptops, mechanicals, bikes, textiles and furniture. Visitors can bring in up to three products per Repair Café but can only book in one product at a time.
If an item is larger than hand luggage or unusual email [email protected] to assess the feasibility of repair. Farnham Repair Café does not complete repairs on petrol driven products, industrial devices, phones, three phase power tools or alter clothing that is less than one year old.
Farnham Repair Cafe is also open to all volunteers, either with repair skills or who just want to fix a product, create art or product from waste, or just want to network and learn.
The monthly event is free and registration is not required. More details can be found at http://cfsd.org.uk/events/farnham_repair_cafe/ .
