A SPELLBINDING tale of the quest to lift a sorceress’s curse and allow her victims to love again, is the subject of the latest book by Haslemere author Freedom Matthews.

Haslemere Bookshop was packed with family and friends when the author of ‘Inherited’ came in for a signing session, complete with a celebration cake decorated with the front cover.

Bookshop co-manager Sue Adsett said: “Freedom was so excited.

“Inherited is her first book to be published in print form, her previous novel was published online as an e-book.

“When she saw her books on our shelves, she burst into tears.

“Freedom has been a loyal customer of ours for years so it was very nice to be able to do her launch.”
