IT was the tales of life on the open road, told to her by her grandfather, that fired the imagination of the young Freedom Matthews who began writing from an early age.
Now, age 29, she has achieved her ambition of becoming a published author by the age of 30 with the release of her first book, Inherited.
She spoke to Herald reporter Sheila Checkley about her work.
