FRIENDS star David Schwimmer swapped the world of romantic sitcom for second world war combat in the Bourne Woods last week.
Schwimmer, who plays Ross in the cult TV show, donned combat gear to play one of 40 American GIs for training scenes to be featured in the 10-part American TV series Band of Brothers.
