FRIMLEY Park Hospital has confirmed its first swine flu-related death after a soldier from Northern Ireland died at the hospital last week.

Lee Porter, a soldier from Coleraine, County Londonderry, died last Friday. A bombardier in the Royal Artillery, Mr Porter was the 28th person known to have died after contracting swine flu in England and he is thought to be the first UK serviceman to have died from the virus.
