EAGLE-eyed film fans may count themselves lucky if they have spotted their heart throb Ewan McGregor in amd around town this week.
The Scottish actor is on location at the exquisite 17th century Lowder Mill in Bell Vale Lane, Fernhurst, for his part as the grown-up Christopher Robin in Disney’s Winnie the Pooh.
But he won’t be playing Pooh sticks in the former mill pond of the Grade II listed water mill where he is pictured revisiting the so called home of his childhood in the forthcoming film based on the classic kids’ books of A A Milne.
Far from his recent role as a recovering drug-addict in Danny Boyle’s TS: Trainspotting, and his appearances in the Star Wars franchise as the young Obe Wan Kenobi (pictured), the 38-year old actor takes on the eponymous role as an adult and stern businessman who has lost his sense of imagination.
