VOLUNTEERS at Bordon’s Hospice Services at Home TLC (Tending, Listening, Comforting) charity said they had enjoyed a “tremendously good day” at the Blackmoor apple-tasting event.
One of the charity’s clients ran a tombola, as part of its stall, and made £120.
TLC, which offers a volunteer visitor service to people with life-limiting illnesses, also distributed more than 500 pink panda mascot balloons and recruited a few volunteers.
A spokesman for the charity said they were delighted that some of its volunteers helped to run the stall at the Blackmoor apple-tasting day, which is held annually at the Blackmoor Estate.
