A TEAM from Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service visited The Woodlarks Centre on Tuesday, April 3, for a games afternoon to kick off a 12 week Prince’s Trust ‘Team’ programme with residents.

The Team personal development programme is aimed at giving young adults aged between 16 and 25 not in education or employment the chance to meet new people, gain new skills and take a qualification.

Ryan Strudwick, who works for Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service, organised the programme at Woodlarks, and proved popular on April 3, also bringing tea, scones and cakes plus crafts and paints.

“The group were a pleasure to have,” said Julie West, Woodlarks’ activities co-ordinator.
