THE Binsted fun dog show, set to take place this Sunday, October 2, has been postponed in anticipation of bad weather.

A band of rain is forecast to sweep across the area on Saturday afternoon, and organisers of the dog show fear the event may become a mud-fest.

A spokesman for the organisers said: "Due to the inclement weather this weekend, a decision has been made to postpone the Binsted fun dog show on October 2.

"Apologies in advance. please spread the word."
