Hale Sure Start Children’s Centre decamped to the village recreation ground on Wednesday, June 27, for a fun-filled outdoor session, where children enjoyed the sunshine and open space.

The mobile children’s centre dropped in with plenty of fun equipment and families came from across the Hale area.

Some of the most popular activities on the day included face painting, a bubble making table and coloured sand.

Situated on the Hale School site, the children’s centre offers families support in many ways, such as regular play sessions, parenting programmes, speech and language, a dad’s club, a new parents group, breast feeding advice, healthy eating and home visits from an experienced outreach worker.
