Families with pre-schoolers and older siblings enjoyed a fun morning at Potters Gate Sure Start Children’s Centre earlier this month.

Farnham Maltings pop-up crafts provided colouring and fish craft activities, while the children also enjoyed touching and holding the lizard, tortoise, snake and frogs from Darwins Kingdom.

Thankfully people were not put off by the wet weather and had fun.

Feedback from families included “we had a lovely day (even in the rain) we got to hold and touch all the animals and learnt lots of new facts.”

The children centre team urge the public to look out for the forthcoming public consultation regarding the closure of centres in the area due out in September 2018.
