A DAY of fundraising and silliness has brought a smile to hundreds of people in Petersfield and East Hampshire.
There were plenty of red faces and outfits at schools and workplaces around the district last Friday as people took part in Comic Relief.
Fundraisers piled on the pounds with cake sales and bake-offs, while others wore pyjamas for the day.
An invitation to "wear something red" to school was accepted by more than 400 pupils at Petersfield Infant School. Events such as a rendition of the Red Nose Song and a fundraising cake stall helped the

"There were some amazing outfits and we all had a great time," said deputy headteacher Allyson Crew. "It's amazing how generous some people are."
