FOUR Marks Parish Council has secured developer contribution funding to the tune of £8,868 to replace an aerial runway and safety surface for the children’s play area at the recreation ground on Uplands Lane.

A popular piece of equipment, the timber runway and platform is more than 20 years old and is the first item in the play area to be replaced as part on an ongoing refurbishment project.
