MORE than 500 people went the extra mile for Sport Relief at Frensham Common on Sunday, at a fully-subscribed fundraiser organised by Waverley Borough Council.

The Waverley Sport Relief Mile was one of the hundreds of similar events held nationwide, with seasoned runners competing against the clock alongside entrants in fancy dress and families with young children running for the fun of it.
