MEMBERS of the 5th Farnham (Bourne) Scout Group trekked through the Bourne Woods at the weekend to raise funds to fit out a newly refurbished room at their headquarters.

Ninety Beavers, Cubs and Scouts took part in 'The Bourne Trek' on Saturday, walking three different routes and raising more than their £1,000 target to kit out the new map room.

All the groups arrived at the district campsite, in Garners Field, Tilford, to join in a celebratory barbecue in the afternoon with parents, Scout leaders and the district explorers and network scouts who supported the event.
