PUPILS at St Mary's Primary School, in Chiddingfold, were well and truly "in the pink" last Friday.
October is breast cancer awareness month and the school raised £150 for leading UK charity Breakthrough Breast Cancer by staging a 'Pink Day'.
Not only did pupils wear something pink but they also baked something pink for a cake sale.
Headteacher Jo Jones said: "It was the first time we have held a Pink Day and the whole event was an enormous sucess.
"Some children dressed from head-to-toe in bright 'onesies,' others had pink hair and accessories or even just wore bright pink wellies. They also held an enormous cake sale of all the pink and sparkly cakes the children and parents had made."
