There were plenty of happy people in Rowledge as the circus came to town to boost a fundraising campaign.
There was some funny business as Happy’s Circus brought its big top to the village for the first time in 12 years on Saturday, September 5.
Around 500 people were treated to spectacular show on the recreation ground with its international cast and skilled performers wowing the crowds.

The circus was invited to perform as part of the fund-raising effort for the building of a new village hall, which is expected to open before Christmas.
“The new hall may not be big enough to house Happy’s Big Top, but it will be capable of hosting many events,” said a spokesperson for the fundraisers.
