CHILDREN The Holme Primary School in Headley have been enjoying new play equipment.

The £15,000 facilities were paid for thanks to a Big Lottery Fund grant and a contribution from the Parents and Teachers Association FROTH (Friends Of The Holme).

“Before this, we had a very small frame and last year it was judged unsafe to use and beyond repair,” said headteacher Ruth Worswick.

“Our school council and eo-warrior members met with the playground company and designed the project. We are delighted with the new equipment and the children are having great fun at playtimes, lunchtimes and in their PE lessons.

"We’d like to say thank you to the Big Lottery Fund and to our parents for their fundraising support.”
