WAVERLEY council is to ask questions of the planning inspectorate, after two conflicting appeal decisions relating to building on what was, at that time, a Farnham councillor's garden.

Waverley's western area planning committee last month reluctantly granted planning consent for a four bedroom detached house and triple garage at Bourne House in Lodge Hill Road, until recently the address of Conservative councillor Denise Le Gal.
