SQUIRE’S Garden Centre in Badshot Lea will hold a free summer evening garden party to celebrate the company’s 80th anniversary on Thursday, August 18.

All are welcome to pop in from 6pm to 8pm and enjoy live music from songwriter Betsa Collins, wine tasting, a magician, craft demonstrations and a charity raffle to win a top of the range Weber Smokey Joe barbecue.

An optional gourmet barbecue will be served from 6.45pm (costing £10 for adults and £8 for children under 12), and visitors can also create a planter for shady areas in a gardening workshop (£25 per person).
