EVERYTHING is coming up roses for a Petersfield man who has poured his love of gardening into a pretty backwater of the town for the benefit of others.

Peter Fisher, 76, who lives in Sheep Street couldn't believe it when he was awarded a special prize at this year's Petersfield in Bloom awards evening, after spending years tending the quarter-of-an-acre once-neglected patch of ground backing onto St Peter's churchyard.
