MAJOR traffic disruption is expected in Farnham from Monday as the twice-delayed replacement of gas mains in Station Hill gets under way.

The scheme, which entails closure of the level crossing for around six weeks to vehicles but not pedestrians and cyclists, will begin provided that work currently taking place in Shortheath Road is completed on Saturday.
