ALICE Holt Forest is getting creative this Christmas and inviting children and adults to make their own unique festive decorations in its ‘magical’ woodland workshop.
The first session, a drop-in Christmas tree ornament workshop, will take place in the festively-decorated forest education centre from 10.30am to 3.30pm on Saturday, December 2.
Families and children of all ages will be shown how to transform natural resources into beautiful Christmas tree ornaments, ranging from glittery pinecone baubles to stars woven from willow branches.
The workshop is free, but ornaments cost up to £1 each.
This will be followed by a series of Christmas wreath-making workshop for adults and children aged eight-plus.
Booking is required for these sessions, which cost £20 and will also take place in the education centre, from 10am to 12.30pm on December 5, 6, 7 and 8.
Participants will be guided through every step towards making a beautiful, professional-looking wreath from natural foliage gathered in the forest.
The workshops are being run by environmental charity Groundwork.
