YOUR carnival needs you – that's the message from carnival committee chairman Karen Feeney ahead of one of the village's biggest annual community events, which is held on the last Saturday of October.
Karen said: "We need more people taking part if we want to carry on the tradition. This year will be the 113th event and we are all working hard to make it even more special that before.
"The carnival is for the community and collects money for charities, but it also needs the community to participate."
