HAVE an item in desperate need of repair? Then come along to the next repair cafe at Farnham United Reformed Church on South Street this Saturday (December 10), from 10am to 12.30pm.

Farnham Repair Cafe is a collaborative project between The Centre for Sustainable Design at the University of the Creative Arts and Transition Town Farnham.

It is part of the global repair cafe movement led by Repair Cafe International Foundation, and supported by Farnham Town Council, Farnham United Reformed Church and University of the Creative Arts.

The event invites people to bring their broken domestic products – everything from textiles and domestic electronics to bikes and furniture – along to the cafe. By sharing in the repairing, the cafe is a place to exchange knowledge and offer access to the tools involved in fixing.
