Tickets will go on sale on Tuesday, May 1, for this September’s Farnham Gin Festival and it promises to be even bigger and better that last year’s breakout success.

At the launch of the gin festival on April 23, The Wheatsheaf served up a St George’s Day gin cocktail for guests.

The Mayor of Farnham, Mike Hodge, welcomed guests and revealed that the popularity of last year’s event means the 2018 festival, which is being held in partnership with The Wheatsheaf, will run for two days and will feature even more gin distillers.

Tickets, which sold out in two days last year, are priced at £12 including admission to the festival as well as a complimentary Fever Tree tonic and a souvenir glass.

To add to the atmosphere, there will also be live music, a photo booth, free ‘masterclasses’ on a variety of gin-related subjects plus plenty of samples for people to try.

Tickets are being sold by the Farnham Maltings on behalf of Farnham Town Council. They can be bought from May 1 from the Maltings’ box office by visiting www.farnhammaltings.com or calling 01252 745444.

The Farnham Gin Festival 2018 is sponsored by Abbeyfield Wey Valley Society and Andrew Lodge Estate Agents.
