It is that time of year when the Cards for Good Causes card and gift shop once again pops up in Haslemere Museum.

The shop is raising money for more than 40 local and national charities including RNLI, Cancer Research UK, Mind, The Alzheimer’s Society, Marie Curie, GUTS and SSAFA.

It was opened by Haslemere’s mayor Cllr Jerome Davidson, who said: “Everyone should buy their Christmas cards from Cards for Good Causes – it’s a wonderful way to support the charities you care about.”

The shop is not only selling Christmas cards but also a range of wrapping paper and labels as well as gifts and stocking fillers.

Manager, Maggie Monteath, said: “Buying cards is an essential way for charities to generate income and this year you can even choose a lovely Haslemere card! Our shop is supported by a fabulous network of volunteers so do come along and see us soon.”

The shop will be open until Saturday, December 23. You can find more information about the shop at https://www.cardsforcharity.co.uk
