BRITAIN'S synchronised swimming team tuned up for a tilt at Olympic glory by spending a day at Old Thorns Manor Spa.
The girls were pampered with a range of treatments as well as making a splash in the Griggs Green hotel's new fitness centre and pool.
Swim team sponsors Motif, which is based in Aldershot, organised for the girls to be given a "gold medal" laser hair removal treatment at the newly-refurbished day spa near Liphook where they were also pampered to perfection in preparation for award-winning success during this summer's London Olympics.
A team of trained therapists treated the synchronised swimmers to Syneron Candela's new Motif laser hair removal treatment, helping to keep the girls silky smooth and fuzz-free forever.
Medi-Spa practitioners used the new hi-tech salon laser on the team's legs, bikini lines and under arms to ensure a beautifully smooth performance and optimum glide through the water.
High performance manager Adele Carlsen said: "Synchronised swimming is a sport that merits appearance as well as performance. The athletes' grooming is essential to their routine and preparation.
"Using Motif will certainly save them time and will be one less thing to worry about as they prepare to compete on the biggest stage of their lives."
The girls relaxed in the spa's beautiful facilities and were treated to a healthy lunch within the scenic surroundings of Old Thorns Manor, but could not resist showing off their skills in the new pool.
