THREE pupils from Waverley Abbey School have raised more than £700 for Macmillan Cancer Support with a coffee morning for classmates.
Jessica, Libby and Orla started planning the coffee morning in the school holidays and their attention to detail meant the event was a great success.
They wanted to do this as they realised how important the support from Macmillan was to people who were having cancer treatment.
Headteacher Kate Redman said: "I am immensely proud of the commitment that the girls have shown in organising and running this event.
"We are delighted that such a significant sum has been raised for such a worthwhile cause."
