YEAR 11 pupils and staff of Eggar's School put on their glad rags to attend their Prom at Old Thorns Hotel and Spa in Griggs Green, near Liphook.

The long, winding driveway leading to the hotel resembled something of a Hollywood red carpet as groups of pupils made dramatic entrances in a variety of vehicles, ranging from a huge, black party bus to a 'Mystery Machine', complete with an inflatable Scooby Doo!

The arrivals certainly were a sight to behold and drew quite a crowd!

The Prom consisted of a three-course sit-down meal, with speeches from staff and pupils. The former Year 11s then took to the dance floor as a DJ played a variety of old school and modern tunes.

In among all the eating and dancing, the pupils and staff found time to mingle and chat in the spectacular grounds of Old Thorns, providing a stunning backdrop for lots of picture-taking; moments and memories that will stay with these pupils for many years to come.
