THE plight of Colin the Cockerel - who has been served with a noise abatement order - has received support from around the world, as people got behind the owners plea to let the bird crow on.
Stephen, 43, and Lena Barton, 41, of Nutcombe View, Ramsdean, near Petersfield were served with the order by East Hampshire District Council earlier this month after neighbours complained that the bird had disturbed their early mornings.
