TOOTSIES Day Nursery has been awarded an ‘outstanding’ Ofsted outcome after its inspection last month.

Not only did the nursery receive the highest possible outcome overall but it is also within the top three per cent in the country to have received an outstanding judgement in all individual criteria Ofsted judge against.

These are leadership and management, learning and assessment, behaviour and welfare and outcomes for children.

Ofsted also noted in its report: “Parents are extremely positive about the care their children receive. They state that staff provide excellent feedback and keep them fully involved of their children’s progress.”

Nursery mmanager Jo Maginnes said: “The staff team at Tootsies work tirelessly to build the foundations for children to ensure they achieve the best possible outcomes for their future.

“All children are treated as individuals incorporating their interests into the way we plan the curriculum.

“The reinforcement from Ofsted’s findings was the ‘icing on the cake’ for all of the childcare practitioners whom are so passionate about the service they offer to our Tootsies families.”

Tootsies is a full day-care setting in Farnham and has been established as a registered childcare provider for 11 years, caring for children aged three months to five years old.

It is set in the grounds of Heath End secondary school in Weybourne and boasts a secluded setting with a large outdoor play area with a range of surfaces and play equipment.
