MEMBERS of Kate Sadler’s Zumba Gold class, at Alton Community Centre, came dressed in red, white and blue, embellished with pearls, lace, hats wigs, and flags in celebration of the Royal Wedding.

Described by Kate as “Zumba at a lower intensity but with the same fun music and party-like atmosphere”, the Zumba Gold class was “charged with energy” for the occasion.

“One wanted to have a right royal knees up.....Zumba Gold style!” said Kate who even wore a Meghan Markle mask to dance to ‘Dear Future Husband!’, while other songs were danced to waving the Union flag.

The room was decorated with bunting and flags for the ocassion and afternoon tea, with scones, strawberries and cream cakes, was served after class.

“We are a great sociable bunch of ladies, ranging in age from the 40s to late 80s! The common connection is their positive state of mind, and the class thrives off this.

“Teaching this group is definitely the highlight of my week,” said Kate.
