POLICE and ambulance crews were called to the B3349 New Odiham Road at Shalden, north of Alton, on Friday (August 10) after a two-vehicle crash at the Golden Pot crossroads.

A notorious accident blackspot, the incident happened at around 4.30pm when a Ford Fiesta was in collision with a Toyota Rav4.

Two women were treated at the scene but both escaped with minor injuries and didn’t require hospital treatment.

The B3349 was closed with rush-hour drivers forced to find alternative routes to avoid the crossroads.
