SURREY Police have renewed an appeal for witnesses after a woman in her 30s suffered serious head injuries when the van in which she was a passenger left the A283 near Chiddingfold Golf Club and collided with a tree.
She remains in a critical condition at St George’s Hospital in Tooting, South London. A man in his 40s, who was driving the van, and a young child, who was a passenger, were also taken to hospital but were later discharged.
Sgt Eddie Ryan, of Surrey Police’s Collision Investigation Unit, said: “I would particularly like to hear from the driver of a small blue car which was seen in the area around the time of the accident, as I believe they may have information which could assist our investigation.”
