TSB’s partners and customers in Alton raised £250 for their charity partner, Basingstoke and Alton Cardiac Rehab, by holding an Easter raffle.

Alton TSB banker Karen Earle said: “Basingstoke and Alton Cardiac Rehab is a vital part of our local community and we are really proud to have them as our local charity partner.

“Our team in Alton have worked hard putting in a lot of time and dedication to make this event a success. We have really enjoyed our Easter raffle and it is fantastic to know the difference that our efforts will make.”

Martin Lovell, manager of Basingstoke and Alton Cardiac Rehab, said: “The staff at TSB have been tremendous partners for Cardiac Rehab. From the very outset, coming to the centre to understand what we do and why it is important and to get a real feel for how we support our local community.

“The team at TSB have not only put on their own fundraising events but been at the front of the queue for tickets to our own events. It has been a pleasure to work with them.”

The money made from the Easter raffle brought the overall total raised for the charity to £1,000, which was handed over to Rehab at the draw.

Mrs Earle added: “TSB’s sole focus is to serve local people and businesses which, in turn, helps fuel local economies across Britain.

“Instead of having a centrally chosen charity of the year, partners working for TSB are empowered to support a local cause that shares the bank’s passion for helping local communities thrive.”
