GREEN Village Investments is preparing a planning application for a new primary school to be run by Bohunt School, with a new clubhouse and FA-standard competition pitch for Liphook United Football Club - on land fronting Bohunt Manor.

The new school, an alternative to expanding the existing primary school, and sports pitches could potentially be opened for 2015-2016.

The proposals - which are in addition to a number of existing and consented community facilities such as allotments, a barn and a medical centre - form part of a wider masterplan which includes a high-quality scheme of new housing and a range of publicly accessible open spaces, including a nature reserve.

New community allotments, including the recent consent for a barn, along with the nature reserve and proposed public barn, will be owned and managed by Bohunt School.
