A LORRY load of brand new granite worktops met an unfortunate end near the Shepherd and Flock roundabout this week.

Debris was strewn across the roundabout connecting Water Lane with the A325 road after the lorry’s mishap at around 10am on Wednesday.

Police soon arrived to cone off a lane of the busy junction until the lorry and granite could be removed later that afternoon.
