“I CAN’T say who is more excited, the children or the staff”, was the thought of one Long Sutton Primary School teacher prior to the school’s performance at the London O2.

On Tuesday, January 17, Year 5 and 6 pupils and the school’s choir performed at the famed London venue to sing at the Young Voices concert.

The concert is the biggest school choir in the world with over 7,000 other school children singing their hearts out and offers both fun and a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for both staff and children.

The children had been learning lots of different types of songs leading up to their tip, with genres ranging from rock to folk to pop.

Following the trip the school said: “Children from Benhams and the choir were lucky enough to visit the O2 arena to perform in the Young Voices Concert. This was a really happy day and a great experience for everyone. Thank you to the parents who came along to help.

“It was a fantastic day and was enjoyed enormously by all.”
