BUDDING bakers at Potters Gate School (pictured) showcased their tasty talents last Friday to raise money for this year’s Children in Need appeal.
Iced yellow Pudsey bears were in plentiful supply on top of cupcakes and full-sized masterpieces with entries flying in for four different age categories.
After being judged by members of the senior team, all the cakes were sold in the playground after school.
In addition to the bake-off, the school sold Children in Need merchandise and together with the proceeds from the cake sale, a whopping £840 was raised.
A school spokesman said: “Thank you to all who baked, ate cake and bought keyrings and wristbands.”
