THE horticultural efforts of Farnham's schools, community groups, businesses and residents have been celebrated.

In recognition of the collective effort made by so many people towards this year's Farnham in Bloom entry, Farnham Town Council has held an awards' presentation to say 'thank you'.

The celebratory event was hosted by Squire's Garden Centre which was gold sponsor of Farnham in Bloom. In two separate presentations, Farnham mayor Paddy Blagden first awarded prizes to winners of the schools' hanging basket competition. This was followed by prize giving for the best allotment and Farnham's Secret Garden. Certificates of excellence, awarded by South and South East In Bloom judges, were also presented.
