HOUSEBUILDER Taylor Wimpey has received confirmation of outline planning permission for a development of 60 new homes at Ash Green Lane West, Tongham.

The news comes as a result of the recent signing of a Section 106 agreement with Guildford Borough Council and follows several months of negotiations after the council's resolution to grant planning permission in November 2012.

The developer will now be consulting with local residents and associations about its proposals and aspirations for the site, before finalising details of the development plan and submitting a Reserved Matters Application.
