AN all-but-derelict shop in Petersfield town centre is set to be transformed into a cafe and wine bar.

Former boutique owner Holly McGhie could soon be selling cocktails rather than clothes after winning permission to convert 4 College Street.

Plans to renovate and extend the former estate agents opposite The Red Lion pub got a mixed response from residents, councillors and traders.

But planners have agreed that the change of use application is acceptable and gave the green light to Miss McGhie on October 18.
