AN extensive planning application for The Deers Hut pub in Griggs Green has been given the go ahead by parish planners.

The application includes substantial new kitchen facilities, eliminates parking at the front of the pub, and would make the current building a lot more attractive, according to the applicants.

But concerns were raised over plans for a large conservatory at the rear of the building, with four doors opening into a garden area, which has never been used by the public before.
