A PANTOMIME that opened with a bang has caused a few fireworks behind the scenes at Petersfield Town Council.

A group of East Hampshire technicians have urged the town council to review the way that the Festival Hall is run during shows and theatre productions.

They have also raised concerns about the venue's management following a visit by firefighters ahead of a Winton Players production.

A recent performance of Robin Hood was delayed by 90 minutes after an electrical burning smell filled the popular venue.
