Hallowe'en garden trick or treat night raised £180

A CHARITY Hallowe’en trick-or-treat event in an Alton garden raised £180 for dog rescue charity Pro Dogs Direct.

It took six hours for the Metcalfe family to set up the family-friendly Vicky’s Hallowe’en Garden in Victoria Road on October 31.

Dressed-up children queued to get glowsticks, stickers and sweets from family members in Hallowe’en costumes and enjoy spooky music, sound effects and props.

Megan Metcalfe said: “The night was a huge success and we received some wonderful comments from our visitors saying that they had enjoyed it very much.”
